Appointments
Appointments requiring more doctor time are scheduled during the day according to current office hours, allowing late afternoon visits for short adjustment appointments. This maximizes the availability of “Prime Time” after-school and after-work appointments. After appliances are on, most appointments will only be 25-35 min. in length. If more doctor time is needed (especially towards the end of treatment), please understand these appointments will need to be during the school hours.
Please give us a 24 hour notice if you need to reschedule an appointment. If rescheduling, please be aware we schedule appointments 6-8 weeks in advance so your new appointment may be unavailable for up to 4-6 weeks.

Late/Missed Appointments
Appointments are scheduled at each appointment for the next visit, often 6-8 weeks in advance. As a result, a missed appointment can often be difficult to reschedule during a “Prime-Time” slot. Please let us know if you need to reschedule as soon as possible. Please be on time to appointments. A typical orthodontic adjustment often takes only 25 minutes. Being late can dramatically affect other patients that are on time, and you will be asked to reschedule.

Emergency Appointments
If you require after hours urgent orthodontic care, please call our office number (801.642.0995) in order to receive emergency instructions. If something is broken or loose, it may not necessarily be considered an emergency. If something is causing severe pain or bleeding, please call our office as soon as possible so we may schedule an appointment.

Sick Patients
If a patient is ill, please reschedule the appointment.
If a child was unable to go to school due to illness, you will be asked to reschedule to help keep our office, staff, and other patients healthy.
